Eden Team Survey

The Eden Team are a group of specialist midwives who provide care to pregnant and birthing people locally.  This survey has been requested by them and is for people who are either currently using the Eden Team services, or have in the last few years.

The survey is anonymous so you will not get any individual response to your comments, if you want to contact us at Birth Voices East MVP please use the contact form at the bottom of the page. Thank you for participating and please do share the survey to anyone you know that has been supported by the Eden Team.
(Please see privacy notice at the bottom of the survey for more details).

Please read the next two statements and continue with the survey questions below:

    Current Model
Currently, Eden Team offer a service where all of your care during your pregnancy and after the baby is born is provided by one midwife in the home. This includes antenatal checks, attendance at professional meetings, involvement with care plans, accompanying you at hospital appointments, if required, visiting you at home after the birth. The current model does not include being present for the birth of your baby.

    Proposed Model
A proposed model has been suggested, which involves an Eden Team midwife caring for you during labour and birth, in addition to during your pregnancy and after the baby is born.
The model is slightly different in that you will meet each of the 6-8 midwives from the team at some point in your pregnancy, in order to ensure that you have met the midwife who supports you in the birth of your baby.
